Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Part 2
Since the last time i commented on the issue, a lot have changed. And i would like to congratulate the Malaysian Prime Minister for that.
The introduction of Key Result Area (KRA) is all but the theme and parameter of any KPI introduced, like i cited in the first post.
It will highlight where the KPI should be collected and how many people affected by the result.
Besides, the appointment of Idris Jala as a minister given the task to monitor the KRA is also a good idea.
With what he has done to bring up a money-losing airline, i m sure he can do much on ensuring the efficiency of the KPI system.
The newspaper have also revealed when will the first KPI be unveiled; end of 2010, and the result expected.
Again, a big congratulation for making this public as i demanded in my first post about KPI.
This might seem long, but trust me, it’s not. It’s never easy to introduce some new change into our administration system, and this is for me, a good delay to start before we can reschedule the result analyst to 6 months or fewer.
When a KPI is given a Where and When, then it’s Now to start implement the measures to make it successful.
Finally, i hope that full transparency will be shown when the statistics are out soon.
Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
